#4 of 100 "Things I Like" challenge...Reading...

I love reading!...history, biography, fictional, even school books (which I will be starting again next month).

Most times, I like to get up really early in the morning, go to B&N and/or Sbux with a book (or two), laptop, ipod, journal and spend a few hours just being with myself. :)

DMA 16 July 2010 ... Claude Monet, "The Seine at Lavacourt". No, I did not get in trouble for taking this shot. I was on the levels where you are allowed to take non-flash photographs...but it probably helped that none of the employees were around at the time...lol

#2 of 100 Things I Like Challenge...Hats

At this point, I actually have more hats than I do shoes.

My old roommate pointed out (kindly) that that fact really wasn't the greatest, considering I am a female that works in a professional setting and should have a larger collection of dress shoes...

I do not know where the taste for hats came from, but I have always liked them.

(The navy blue hat with the Eagle and "USA" was one of my grandfather's. He served in the Navy during WW2, both the Atlantic and Pacific. It's the only thing I have of his, and I treasure it deeply.)
