This past week I was in Washington, DC for work, and got the chance to spend a few hours touring the monuments.

The Harkcom's

Ashley has been a friend of mine for years, and was the first to ever ask me to do wedding pictures. (my saying "yes" to do her wedding ended up being the kick-off to my "career" as a photographer).

She is about 5 weeks away from giving birth to her baby boy :) and asked if I would do some family shots before he comes. Of course I said yes! (which, amazingly enough, is another "first" for me...they must really trust my picture taking abilities...lol)
