Life, school, and photography...

Hi,

I know it has been a looooong time since I posted anything on here.  Life has been extremely crazy (from moving to NY, to getting engaged and married).

Today I find myself nearly completing week 5 of 10 of my second term at RIT.  It has been a lot of hard work but fun.

Below are some of the pictures I have taken for assignments in the past 5 weeks.   They were on lighting, portraits and self-portraits.

I am not finished on the portraits/self-portraits part, but these are a few of my favorite.

Hope you enjoy!

Sarah

#43 of 100 in the "Things I Like" Challenge ...being part of a special moment in time, especially when it is a family member :)

She had no idea he was about to ask...

The big moment

He is so romantic

She said "YES!"

My cousin and his soon-to-be-wife

In love

Favorite shot of the night

So happy

They are so cute!

As soon as I got a few shots of the happy couple, the Iphones came out...

Must send to friends!

Finally out of the cold and able to take some good shots on her phone.

#37 of 100 in the "Things I Like" Challenge...discovering a new editing tool

I do not usually do this kind of thing with my photos, I tend to like the more natural look, but this photo was too fun to pass up! :)

#36 of 100 in the "Things I Like (or in this case "love")" Challenge...Cait (a sister by heart)

Cait and I met four years ago.  We were immediate friends and sisters.
Over the past few years I have watched her battle a life threatening situation with grace and a strength that is beyond her years.  This holiday season, I am thankful that she is now (physically) on the road to living the dreams she has carried inside for so long... one of them will be coming true early next year when she finally marries the man of her dreams :)
